Here’s how to fix a gas leak on a Harley-Davidson FXR, when the gas is getting into the fuel gauge and leaking out of the wiring tube on the bottom of the tank. See my FXR Super Glide motorcycle on hoohoohoblin.com. Hope this helps you if you have this problem. I may well have been able to fix it without taking the sender unit out just by tightening the screws that hold it in. If your bike is leaking try that before taking it apart. The Harley FXR is the best bike they ever made. I’m trying to keep mine on the road forever.
