How To Fix A Gas Leak On A Harley-Davidson FXR Super Glide Motorcycle Fuel Tank Fuel Gauge

I may well have been able to fix it without taking the sender unit out just by tightening the screws that hold it in. If your bike is leaking try that before taking it apart. The Harley FXR is the best bike they ever made. I’m trying to keep mine on the road forever.

The charger is useful because if you don’t ride the bike for over a week and the alarm is armed, the battery will get drained, causing a weaker start/firing of the engine. Since I had time, I also installed a bra for my gas tank. That just saves me tank from all sorts of belt buckle & zipper scratches, as well as scratches from the rivets of my jeans and gloves.
