@leestratton1 Good …
@leestratton1 Good job sir, your vids helped me in changing out my 48 tank for a 3.5 gal tank just 2 days ago. I had to place the mirrors on top of the bars now due to size of new tank. Thanks again from another proud and happy owner of a Sporty Xl1200X.

Im getting a 48 …
Im getting a 48 soon.. maybe… What I do like about it, over a nightster, is that it has forward controls.. I know you can have them moved forwards but with the controls like the 883 and nightster have, they vibrate BAD… Being this bike has the same styling basically but with a few small differences and doesnt cost $10,000 starting like the nightster, its my choice too… I havent been able to find a 883 fuel tank that would work for under $350… I wonder if the harley dealer would swap it

@africanos89 I …
@africanos89 I agree that the tank is what makes it a 48 but doing what I do to it makes it mine. Everyone changes things are a Harley from small chrome bolt ons to bigger tanks to complete custom chop jobs… call it what you want but it all takes time and money. But I will admit getting rid of the coolest tank harley ever had is a little sad.

Hey brother looks …
Hey brother looks great, going to do the same swap with an Iron seat. Just an idea but go to a vinyl shop and get a 6×6 square to put around the gas cap, you could even trim it to match the scallops, it prevent splash backs from giving you bubbles and destroying your work.

Great video. New tank looks amazing! Can’t you just clear coat it to protect it from gas? Or would that completely change the way it looks?
